T Register Rebuild 2022

After a two year hiatus because of you-know-what, Rebuild is back for 2022 on 9 April at the British Motor Museum and online booking is now open – see the form below.

Rebuild will be open at 9.30am for a 10am start. The cost will be in line with previous Rebuild events at £47 for MGCC members and £49 for non members and will include entrance to the museum as well as refreshments and lunch.

The speakers and topics will be
Peter Jury: LED lighting conversions, dynamo and regulator upgrades
Eric Worpe: Problems with rear oil seal conversions on XPAG engines and possible solutions
Paul Ireland: Principles of operation, maintenance and repair of T Type drum brakes

Peter Jury is the proprietor of Classic Dynamo and Regulator Conversions. We will also have Alan Crook’s model of a TD chassis and drive train there and he will give a short presentation on the model.

There will also be the usual Regalia sales and Bring and Buy stall to sell your unwanted spares as in previous years, and there is a form for you list your items to help us on the day.

There will be a full page advert and application form in the March and April editions of Safety Fast, but the online form for registering for the event is available now below.

Please note that we would prefer payment via bank draft rather than cheque as it is now much easier for the Treasurer to process. If you do intend to pay by cheque, please make it payable to

COVID and cancellation
Our contract with the British Motor Museum allows us to cancel the booking two weeks before the event, so the T Register committee will take a view on whether to cancel the event before this so that no losses are incurred.
