The 2016 MGCC MG Trophy Championship Class C ZR 160 entries are already up on the previous year with over 2 months to go before the first race meeting.

Trophy co-ordinator Pete Macwaters said “I think having John Gil’s championship winning ZR 160 on the stand at the Autosport show has highlighted that although cars fron this class won’t win races outright it is possible to win the championship.”

“We have purposely targeted novices and ex karters with discounted registration fees and half price race entries, and with race ready cars available for as little as £3,000 it’s a no brainer” said Macwaters. “The MG Car Club are racing on all the top UK circuits once again including the Silverstone GP circuit, the Trophy will also venture north to do two rounds at Knockhill at the end of July” concluded Macwaters.

The MG Trophy will have double headers at Mallory Park, Brands Hatch, Donington, Silverstone GP, Oulton Park, Knockhill and Snetterton in 2016. For more information, contact Pete Macwaters on 01280 821442.
