Another Huge Grid For The MG Trophy Championship

Trophy Championship

On Saturday 12th September, the penultimate MG Car Club meeting of the year is taking place at Oulton Park. All of the MGCC’s championships and series will feature, as well as a visit from The Fuel Protect Porsche Club Championship with Pirelli and the Aero Racing Morgan Challenge.

The MG Trophy Championship continues to attract large grids, and there’s no let up for the Oulton Park rounds on the 12th September where at least 30 ZR’s are expected to be racing on the full International circuit.

Trophy Co-ordinator Pete Macwaters said: “My average so far this season is 29 and I’d set myself a target of 30+ for the year so I might still manage it.

“Both our races are being televised for Motors TV, so there’s plenty of exposure for our drivers and John Woods Motorcare who are sponsoring these rounds once again. This year we’ve already had 14 new drivers racing, and some of them are really quick so it’s certainly spiced things up a bit!”

Spectator tickets for this meeting can be purchased from £10 in advance. To book, and for more information about Oulton Park, please click here.
