Huge grid for MG Trophy at MGLive!

The MGCC’s MG Trophy Championship continues to attract large grids and there’s  no let up at Silverstone for the MG Live! event on the 20 and 21st June where at least 35 ZRs are expected to be racing on the GP circuit. 

Trophy co-ordinator Pete Macwaters said “My average for the first four races of this year is 30 and I hope to beat that by some margin at Silverstone for the big MG event of the year. So far I have 35 points scorers plus 3 guests with more joining us for the first time this year at Silverstone. Our Saturday race will be televised for ‘Motors TV’ so there’s plenty of exposure for our drivers and Finishline our race sponsor”.

“This year we’ve already had 11 new drivers racing and there will be more before the end of the season, some of the new guys are really quick and Paul Luti has already had an outright pole in his 170”

“It’ll be nice to see Jack (Goff) again no doubt giving his old friends in the Trophy the low down on what goes on in the BTCC” concluded Macwaters.
