Great Zed Turnout at MGFest and looking forward to ZEDFest
There was an excellent register turnout at MGFest last Sunday with 30 cars in the Register parking with about another half dozen parked with other groups. The day was sunny but not too hot and with some great action on track with the Cockshoot Cup. Of special interest for the zed owners was an impressive on track display by Jason Hughes in the 2002 BTCC MG ZS and a static display of the record breaking Bonneville MG ZT-T (the fastest estate car in the world!).
Attention now turns to ZEDFest at Stoneleigh Park this coming Sunday (23rd August) where in partnership with MG Rover Events we are having the ZR/ZS/ZT Register’s celebration of 25 years since the cars’ launch. The record breaking ZT-T X-15 will also be there. Full details and tickets can be obtained at zedfest.co.uk.
