MG ZS 180 4-Door 2003

I had wanted to buy this car when it originally came up for sale back in early 2022, unfortunately I didn’t have the money at the time. It came up for sale again in early 2023 as it was just sitting on the owners driveway unused, as we all know these cars do not like sitting for long periods!
As it was my 40th in March I decided to treat myself and after a bit of negotiation with the owner it was sitting outside mine.
The ZS 180 is painted in Monogram Nocturne and is number 3 of 6 built in total. 2 went abroad and the other 4 remained in the UK. Unfortunately, the other 3 have since been scrapped so that leaves this one as the only one left on British roads.
I am having the belts replaced in May as although the car has only done around 20,000 miles on them it is due for age, plus it will be getting a total overhaul starting with fresh calipers, discs and pads and moving on to replacing anything that needs doing, the car is 20 years old after all.
That’s not to say the car hasn’t been well looked after, from new until 2020 it was owned by British Legends based in Southend and has extensive service history.
After having a year out from co-running out local MG Rover group I am really looking forward to bringing the ZS to the shows in 2023 and beyond.
