Honouring Mike Parker
As you know, we lost Mike back in 2024, following a short illness. Mike was instrumental in setting up the local AWC natter and gave much of his time to assisting with the MG Car Club. He was the late co-ordinator of the Midget & Sprite Challenge race series, which he thoroughly enjoyed too. He is sorely missed by Caroline and the family – and all those that knew him. There is a plan to place a memorial bench by the riverside in Abingdon, at the junction of Wilsham Road and Saxton Road. A Gofundme page has been set up to raise the necessary funding.
