New MGCC Motorsport Website Launched

THE MG CAR CLUB is pleased to announce the launch of a new website dedicated to the Club’s thriving motorsport activities.

This has been designed to make it easier for competitors and spectators to find the information they need about the Club’s expansive list of motorsport events.

The MG Car Club’s Motorsport website incorporates the eight race championships and series held across the Club’s six race meetings each year, along with numerous hill climbs, trials, sprints and more.

Steve Carr, Competitions Secretary for the MG Car Club said: “The launch of the Motorsport website signals the start of a new system that will be put into place to help simplify race entries and payments.

“From the front page visitors to the site can immediately see the latest race standings, reports and upcoming events. As the 2014 race season approaches, regulations and entry forms will all be available in one easy to find location, enabling our competitors to locate the relevant information more efficiently.”

Julian White, General Manager of the MG Car Club added: “This is part of an ongoing project to improve the integration between the MG Car Club’s main site, our online shop and the Motorsport website.

“We spoke to competitors at our race meetings to find out what elements they would like to see on the website, and we are very pleased with the interactive features we have been able to create for them.“

The MG Car Club is the most active single Marque race organising Club in the UK. The Club prides itself on offering exciting racing at an affordable rate at some of the most prestigious race circuits across the country including Silverstone, Brands Hatch and Donington.
