31st July 2013

MGA_Day_MGCC

THIS coming Sunday, August 4th is MGA Day at Coughton Court. This National Trust property has been the home of the Throckmorton family since 1409 and is set in 25 acres of grounds containing some of the most breathtaking gardens in the country.

No booking is required, simply turn up on the day. For National Trust members admission is free, otherwise normal admission charges apply. Visit here for more information.

MG Parking will be clearly signed on entry, and will be a dedicated area separate to the public. This is a grassed area to the north of the house. Main gates open at 10.30am while the side entrance, which we can use will be open from 9.30am.

Anyone who is interested in taking a dedicated tour for MGCC members only, needs to arrive at the Restaurant no later than 10.00am. After teas and coffee there is the option to attend a hosted tour of the house before it is open to the public.

This tour is chargeable including NT members, but this is nominal depending on numbers (typically £3 each). They will split us into groups of 15-20 as needed. Normally the tour lasts between one to two hours.
