Riviera Run 2025

T Register at the Brooklands Museum New Year’s Day Classic Gathering 2026
2026-01-0101 Jan 202610:0016:00There is usually a huge turnout for this event and it s reputed to be the largest New Year classic gathering in the South East. You can enjoy live music, a winter BBQ plus breakfast and lunch stalls, and there’s something for the whole family to kickstart the New Year. Visitors with vehicles (including motorcycles) registered before 31st July 1996 can bring their vehicle on site. Every space around site will be used so expect to see vehicles filling up the Finishing Straight, Aircraft Park, Members Banking, around Concorde and in the Motoring Village. (Vehicles registered pre-July 1996 will have an N prefix eg N123 ABC. Modern Sports and Supercars are welcome too.) This event is always extremely popular, pre-booking is recommended. There’s a Winter BBQ and live music and entry is via the Campbell Gate off Brooklands Road for all types of pre 1986 classics and pre-booked car clubs.

Kop Hill Climb

If the family wants a break from all the cars and bike action, then the festival boasts a tempting array of distractions. Classic car enthusiasts can explore a wealth of traders, jumblers and service providers showcasing their wares. It’s the perfect place to meet like-minded hobbyists and pick up advice, hints, and tips from the people who know the ins and outs of these stunning marques. Alongside will be some of the UK’s largest MG & Triumph car clubs exhibiting their members’ restored machines, or displaying interesting projects still a way from completion. In recent years, both trade and club exhibitors have had live restoration and maintenance tasks taking place on their stands, with next year promising even more action. MGB Register Monthly Breakfast Meet
2025-12-1717 Dec 202510:00 am12:30 pm Breakfast meet at Kingsley Refuel Cafe, on the A40 near Eynsham. This is an amazing venue, decorated in classic car memorabilia and has to be seen to be believed. You can look it up here: http://www.kingsleycars.co.uk/kingsley-cafe/ This will always be the third Wednesday of the month. This is a regular event that is aimed at showcasing your MGB but in the winter and in poor weather turning up in your daily driver is acceptable. It is really all about meeting like minded people and friendship. Partners are very welcome. No need to book, just turn up. The location of the café lends itself to enabling you to make it a full day out as the A40 road takes you straight into the Cotswolds, with all the scenery and attractions you could wish for. Burford, for instance is only 12 miles away, Blenheim Palace only 6 miles away. .

MGs in The Park with the MGB Register

We had about 25 MGs in our club area last year. Cost is £15 per vehicle inclusive of Driver and up to 2 Passengers. Extra passengers at £10 each. As it is a secure MoD base, a Photo ID is required and entry of either a Driving License or Passport number at the time of booking.
