Volunteering
The MG Car Club is run “for the members, by the members.” The club relies on its volunteers to bring new skills, developing ideas and more than anything, to have fun!
Volunteering is a great way to meet new people, especially if you are new to a Centre, Register or Branch. It can broaden your support network, connecting you to people with common interests, technical know-how and even sources of parts or tools. It is also a great way to broaden your skills, whether for personal interest or to support career progression.
From a few hours per month to a more committed position, here are some of the ways you can get involved:
Events
Planning, organising, promoting via website and social media, managing, health and safety, marshalling.
Technical
Engineering, MG servicing, parts, repairs, restoration skills.
Motorsport
Promoting, race organisation, event marshalling, social media and website updates
Leadership
Group leadership, meeting organisers, treasurers, Club administration, archivists.
Professional
Accountancy, legal, IT, website, social media, sales and marketing, human resources, strategy, governance and management
