MG Motor UK has completed its class leading supermini line-up in 2025 with the MG3 SE Petrol joining the award-winning MG3 Hybrid+ SE and Trophy models. Available for just £16,495 OTR the third and latest member of the MG3 family offers all the comprehensive safety, comfort and infotainment levels featured in the Hybrid+.

The MG SE Petrol is set to become the most affordable MG model in the UK while offering drivers a generously equipped, modern supermini at a price-point similar to many smaller, city cars. Like all MG models the MG3 SE Petrol is supported by a full 7-year/80,000 miles warranty. David Allison, Head of Product and Planning for MG Motor UK, explains:

MG Motor UK is also introducing a petrol version of its popular ZS SUV. The MG ZS SE Petrol is available for £19,495 OTR and completes the ZS range which includes the Hybrid+ SE and Hybrid+ Trophy. David Allison adds:

MG3 SE Petrol

The newest MG3 features a 5-speed manual transmission and utilises an efficient 1495cc, 4-cylinder petrol engine with a maximum power output of 115PS (85kw) and 109 lb ft (148 NM) of torque. With 0-62mph acceleration achieved in 10.8 seconds and a potential maximum speed of 115mph, the MG3 balances performance with excellent fuel economy delivering a combined WLTP of 46.3 miles per gallon.

The new petrol MG3 is generously equipped throughout with an extensive range of features ensuring driver and passenger safety, as well as offering high levels of infotainment and comfort.

Some key features include MG3 dual screen technology (7″ Driver Display and 10.25″ Colour Touchscreen), satellite navigation with speed limit recognition, traffic jam assist, Apple CarPlay/Android Auto, iSmart phone connectivity, USB ports in the front and rear as well as a 6-speaker audio system.

MG Pilot Safety includes Autonomous Emergency Braking (AEB), Forward Collision Warning (FCW), Lane Departure Warning System (LDWS), Lane Keep Assist (LKA) and Driver Attention Alert.

Additional driver’s aids include a trip computer, rear parking camera with sensor and tyre pressure monitoring system. A four-way adjustable steering column enables preferred reach and rake settings and a six-way adjustable seat ensures an optimal and comfortable driving position.

Boot capacity is generous with 293 litres of standard storage and with the split rear seats folded there is a total of 983 litres. Within the cabin there are additional storage areas including under the front centre armrest and cup holders.

The MG3 SE Petrol is available in Arctic White, Black Pearl, Monument Silver, Hampstead Grey, Battersea Blue and Dynamic Red. Halogen projector headlights and the 16″ Atlas” alloy wheels complete its distinctive appearance.

MG ZS SE Petrol

The latest addition to the ZS family offers an impressive portfolio of new features. Inside the cabin, a 12”3 HD Colour Touchscreen is introduced with navigation and live services (such as satellite navigation with speed limit recognition) in addition to a 7” driver display. iSmart Phone Connectivity now joins Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and the ZS offers a 6-speaker Audio System. Three USB Ports have also been introduced, 2 in the front cabin and 1 in the rear.

Keyless entry is standard as are rain sensing wipers and the SE features a rear parking camera with sensor. MG Pilot has been significantly upgraded and right across the MG ZS range. New features include adaptive cruise control, active emergency braking with pedestrian and bicycle detection, lane keep assist, lane departure warning, rear cross traffic alert, blind spot detection, forward collision warning, and traffic jam assist.

Practical and popular features including cup holders, a front centre armrest with generous storage and 12V Power socket are all provided. Boot space is generous with 443L of capacity.
