BOTH the California Cup and Autosolo offer MG Car Club members the chance to test their motoring skills at MG90.

The California Cup is one of the Club’s oldest and most attractive trophies, awarded to the winning team at Silverstone each year.

The California Cup, taking place on the morning of Saturday 21st June, comprises of a series of tests laid out on tarmac, run concurrently to avoid waiting time.

The organising team are familiar with the quirks of the MG breed – so the tests are designed to challenge the modified Midgets while at the same time providing plenty of fun for the more sedate vehicles…

Competitors will be pleased to hear there are all-new test layouts in place for 2014!

The supplementary regulations and entry form for the California Cup can be downloaded here.

Taking place in the same space, Car Park 49, on Sunday 22nd June, will be the MG90 Autosolo.

The Autosolo was first introduced to Silverstone in 2012 and has been a popular feature since.

More information about the Autosolo can be found here.

Both events cost just £20 to enter! Pre-registration is required for the California Cup, but competitors can still enter on the day for the Autosolo. Anyone wishing to compete must be a Car Club member and present their membership card prior to taking part.

All vehicles must be road-going and drivers are required to present their MOT certificates at scrutineering.
