New Years Day Run 2026
2026-01-0101 Jan 202612:00 am11:59 pmJoin us for our annual New Years Day meeting at The Abbey Lodge, Woodhall Spa from lunchtime on January 1st and start the new year off with a gathering of friends old and new. This historic event is always popular with MG Car Club members from Lincolnshire and further afield and you are invited to join us. You will need to book a table directly with The Abbey Lodge if you want any food prior to the social drive out. Following the Pride of Ownership (Landlords choice – small fee) we set off for a social drive of around 25 miles to a secret destination for coffee & mince pies. We leave the Abbey Lodge around 2pm – 2:30pm and arrive around an hour later at our secret destination that is central for everyone’s homeward

Navigational Scatter Rally

The winner being the team with the shortest miles covered. We all return to a designated finish venue and enjoy a coffee while the results are announced. T Register at the Brooklands Museum New Year’s Day Classic Gathering 2026
2026-01-0101 Jan 202610:0016:00There is usually a huge turnout for this event and it s reputed to be the largest New Year classic gathering in the South East. You can enjoy live music, a winter BBQ plus breakfast and lunch stalls, and there’s something for the whole family to kickstart the New Year. Visitors with vehicles (including motorcycles) registered before 31st July 1996 can bring their vehicle on site. Every space around site will be used so expect to see vehicles filling up the Finishing Straight, Aircraft Park, Members Banking, around Concorde and in the Motoring Village. (Vehicles registered pre-July 1996 will have an N prefix eg N123 ABC. Modern Sports and Supercars are welcome too.) This event is always extremely popular, pre-booking is recommended. There’s a Winter BBQ and live music and entry is via the Campbell Gate off Brooklands Road for all types of pre 1986 classics and pre-booked car clubs.
