Marathon B makes Bicester bow

The 1968 London to Sidney MGB of Jean Denton joined other historic rally cars at this weekend’s Classic and Sportscar Show, held at Bicester Heritage.

The B was part of the inaugural show’s “Historic and Rally Car Class’ in its Concours, rubbing shoulders with other iconic BMC rally cars, such as ‘Puff The Magic Wagon’ – the legendary Austin Maxi that competed in the 1970 World Cup Rally.

The car is rapidly approaching completion, with the B Register hoping to showcase the completed car in July. Look out for more news online and in print in the next few weeks.
