The MG Car Club has always stood for more than just motoring. Since its foundation in 1930, it has embodied friendship, enthusiasm, and the enduring spirit of the MG marque. As the Club is celebrating its 95th anniversary in 2025, we are proud to launch a new initiative – Friends of the MG Car Club. This scheme is designed to build upon our rich heritage while creating fresh opportunities for engagement, recognition, and education for everyone who shares a passion for MG.

The principle is simple: we must honour the legacy of the MG Car Club while also providing clear and tangible benefits to those who support it. By becoming a Friend, whether as an individual, a commercial patron, or a heritage partner, supporters will help sustain the traditions of the MG community and play a role in securing its future.

The Club has thrived for nearly a century because of the loyalty and passion of its members. A framed certificate of Friendship membership of the original MG Car Club – founded by the MG factory in 1930.

Publication in Safety Fast! magazine, where Patrons will be listed, ensuring recognition within the community on a regular basis.

An advertorial feature in Safety Fast!, giving Patrons, Heritage Sites and Sporting Circuits the opportunity to share their story, their business, or their connection with the MG brand.

Support in furthering objectives, enabling Friends and Patrons to align their personal or organisational aims with the Club’s heritage and values.

Their name on a visible display at Kimber House, the spiritual home of the MG Car Club, where Friends and Patrons will be recognised on a dedicated membership board.
