T Register at the MG and Triumph Spares Day 2024

The MG and Triumph Spares Day is on again at Stoneleigh for 2024 and the T Register will have a stand there in Hall 1, and you can sell your unwanted T Type spares there. All we need is your contact details (mobile phone is best so we can get you if you ve wandered off and people are clamouring to buy) and the price you re looking for. There is a form to use for describing your spares you want to sell. The stand is once again being organised by Barry Knight so if you have any questions, contact him at barglen@ntlworld.com. T Register Spring Tour to Normandy 2024

We will be visiting the spa town of Bagnoles de l’Orne in Normandy, recommended by Bob and Sue Marshall. The location is about 75 miles south of Caen, 100 miles south of Le Havre and 250 miles southwest of Calais. We have provisionally reserved twenty rooms at the Hôtel Spa du Béryl (Google map) from 15th April for four nights. Participants will have a choice of lake or park view, and the hotel will give us dedicated secure parking. The venue will be the Metropole Hotel & Spa in Llandrindod Wells. This historic motoring hotel has been the venue for many events. There are numerous opportunities to explore the magnificent countryside and we’ll design routes to make the most of this. As usual, there will be road runs organised for both the Wednesday and Thursday. Hotel Booking Arrangements| We have reserved 45 rooms of various types for 3 nights. MGCC Luxembourg Exhibition ‘MG – 100 years of Motoring & Passion’

The MG Car Club Luxembourg start their celebrations for the centenary on May 9, with an exhibition called MG - 100 years of Motoring & Passion The exhibition will last over a full year, with different sections. The first section is from May to End of July, the second section starts in August, and Ends in October. The final section for fall and winter will show the most interesting cars, and lasts from November 2023 to April 2024. More information can be found soon on the website http://www.mg100.lu. MGCC Schweiz Exhibition of 100 Years of MG

New Zealand National Rally 2024 – Celebrating 100 years of MG

MGCC Auckland, New Zealand are hosting the 2024 biannual New Zealand National Rally combined with celebrating 100 years of MG. It’s being run over an Octagonal Week of 13-21 January 2024 starting in Auckland and touring part of the North Island, together with a public display day and low key track events. Some MG100 highlights to look forward to: • Static and dynamic public displays of MGs at Queen’s Wharf in the heart of Auckland, concluding with a cocktail function in the Cloud. • Visit some of the most prestigious vineyards in NZ • Low-key timed track sprints at Bruce McLaren Motorsport Park in Taupo, with speed groups for all experience levels. • Drive some great roads with fantastic scenery • Compete for the Long Beach Trophy at the grass motorkhana being a classic MG event. MG National Meeting Celebrating 100 years of MG

The MG Car Club Sydney warmly welcomes you to Tamworth, for the 2024 MG National Meeting March 29 to April 2, 2024. Situated on the Peel River, on the spur of the Great Dividing Range and backed by the Wentworth Mounds, Tamworth is a buzzing country town in northern NSW offering a lovely mix of heritage, adventure, sports and culture, almost equal distance between Brisbane and Sydney. Early explorer, John Oxley, said in 1817 “no place in the world can offer more advantages to the industrious settler, than this extensive vale.” Surrounding villages such as Barraba, Manilla and Nundle have their own charm, and act as a contrast to the bright lights of the regional capital. Exploring these destinations will leave you with an experience that will be remembered long after you depart. MG100 Cavalcade – John O’Groats to Lands End

This event is taking place over the period Tuesday April 30 to Saturday May 25 2024. The goal is to link all regions of the UK and all parts of our Club in celebration, as a Centenary led expression of the Marque of Friendship. The event is being organised in partnership with the UK MGCC Centres and will consist of a series of road runs from John O’Groats to Lands’ End. The  Objectives are To celebrate 100 years of MG in as inclusive and visible way possible by running a series of consecutive scenic runs the full length of the country. Involve as many members as possible – from all age groups and eras of MG, from Vintage/MMM to Young Members. There will be an overall route, which takes in some of the key venues to the overall MG story and iconic motoring and motorsport locations throughout mainland UK. To

[caption id="attachment_36661" align="alignright" width="353"] MG100 South East flyer - click to expand[/caption] MG100 South East is being held at Brooklands Museum at the end of the MG Centenary year celebration, and is being organised by the MGCC South East Centre together with local MGOC clubs. Planning for this event is still taking placed and below is the latest information available. The event is planned to take place over 2 days, with a series of road runs on Saturday 18th originating in various adjacent areas in the South East region and converging at the Fairmile Hotel which is a regular Natter venue for SE Centre members. There will be entertainment and live music and an informal barbecue for participants and other members who may wish to join in the evening. Hotel accommodation is available at the adjacent Premier Inn. Sunday 19th May will be the Show Day at Brooklands for displays
