Inter-club International Weekend 2024

The anticipation has continued to build amongst car clubs, with over twenty now pledging their support and attendance. Celebrities from the classic car world are also expressing their support, with the first confirmed appearance being announced for former Bangers and Cash TV personality Sarah Crabtree who will be at the show on Saturday meeting clubs and joining the line-up in the live arena. Features already announced include: Celebrity guests include Sarah Crabtree, Evoke Classics, Bangers & Cash. Cockshoot Cup Race Championship Rounds One and Two

And the T Register will have dedicated parking there. The event is planned to take place over 2 days, with a series of road runs on Saturday 18th originating in various adjacent areas in the South East region and converging at the Fairmile Hotel which is a regular Natter venue for SE Centre members. There will be entertainment and live music and an informal barbecue for participants and other members who may wish to join in the evening. Hotel accommodation is available at the adjacent Premier Inn. Sunday 19th May will be the Show Day at Brooklands for displays and gatherings of MG cars of

T Register T Party 2024 at the Chiltern Open Air Museum

The T Register T Party will be held slightly earlier this year and at a new venue for us - the Chiltern Open Air Museum. The Museum is an interesting collection in the open air of vernacular buildings near Chalfont St Peter and Chalfont St. Giles in the Chiltern Hills inBuckinghamshire. There is a large field for us to use and the Museum has a ‘Village Kitchen’ with a menu of homemade lunchtime classics together with a wide range of healthy and not so healthy treats 😱 The cost for the T Party will be £7 per car, payable at the gate on your arrival. We would ask if you could complete the form below so we can give the Museum advance notification of the numbers expected. Visit the Museum website for more information on the venue. T Register Autumn Tour 2024

The 2024 Autumn Tour to will be to Mid Wales, and has been booked for 3rd – 6th September 2024. The venue will be the Metropole Hotel & Spa in Llandrindod Wells. This historic motoring hotel has been the venue for many events. There are numerous opportunities to explore the magnificent countryside and we’ll design routes to make the most of this. As usual, there will be road runs organised for both the Wednesday and Thursday. There will be a £50 entry fee per car for the administration for organising the Tour - route reconnaisance etc - and surplus funds will be allocated to participants enjoyment of the event. Hotel Booking Arrangements| We have reserved 45 rooms of various types for 3 nights. The rates include: • Accommodation and breakfast • 3 course evening menus with tea/coffee • Gala dinner in a private dining room on Thursday 5th Sep 2024

SUV Register at the MG Centenary South East

The MG100 SE event takes place over the weekend of 18th/19th May 2024 and will be organised by the South East MG Clubs. The event will draw a close to the MG Centenary in the South East and will be a celebration of all things MG. Over the weekend you can enjoy one of several road runs on Saturday all leading to the lawns in front of The Fairmile in Cobham, Surrey. You will be met there with a display of cars, Magic Marco, Jazz Duo and a buffet late afternoon meal. MGCC President John Day will be there to greet you along with the MG Owner Club’s Richard Monk. On Sunday we head to Brooklands Museum for a full day focussing on 100 years of MG with particular emphasis on competition cars as befits the historic location. MGCC Luxembourg Exhibition ‘MG – 100 years of Motoring & Passion’

The MG Car Club Luxembourg start their celebrations for the centenary on May 9, with an exhibition called MG - 100 years of Motoring & Passion The exhibition will last over a full year, with different sections. The first section is from May to End of July, the second section starts in August, and Ends in October. The final section for fall and winter will show the most interesting cars, and lasts from November 2023 to April 2024. More information can be found soon on the website http://www.mg100.lu. MGCC Schweiz Exhibition of 100 Years of MG

MG100 Cavalcade – John O’Groats to Land’s End

The information about this event has appeared in the March edition of Safety Fast! and there is also a News item on the MG Car Club website. The event will take place between Tuesday 30th April and Saturday 25th May. As we continue the celebration of 100 years of MG in 2024, for the enjoyment of members throughout the country our goal is to link all regions of the UK and all parts of our Club in celebrating with a Centenary led expression of the ‘Marque of Friendship’. The plan is to achieve this by way of a series of road runs all the way from John O’Groats to Land s End. The whole Club is uniting in this endeavour so that a very appropriate MG 100 baton can pass from one end of the country to the other, involving as many members as possible. In the event of cancellation, the cancellation conditions of the respective hotels apply. Entry fee is contrition money and will only be refunded if the entry is rejected or the event is cancelled. If the event is cancelled due to "force majeure" (e.g. natural disasters, ozone alarm, pandemic events), one third of the entry fee will be retained to cover the organizational
