MGCC Tyne-Tees Centre Autumn Leaves Luncheon Run
2024-10-1313 Oct 20249:00 am4:00 pm Sunday 13th October 2024: organised by Noel Lindford Welcome to the Autumn Leaves Run, the last social run of the Tyne-Tees 2024 season. The run this year takes us on a relaxed drive through some beautiful scenic countryside around South Northumberland and County Durham with a wide variety of terrain and of course plenty of autumnal foliage on the trees. The run is just under 50 miles, starting at Dobbies Garden Centre, Ponteland where you can purchase teas/coffee and if you haven’t had breakfast, food… they do an excellent range of breakfast delights! We aim to start the first car off at around 10.00 a.m. with signing on from 9.00 a.m. The route takes you through some stunning countryside ending up at a very pleasant venue for a two-course lunch near Beamish. Apart from drinks in the licenced bar, the real pre-lunch “aperitif for the motorist” on this event

Based at The Lodge, Duxford, (thelodgeduxford.com) ideally situated for Cambridge and surrounding attractions, it is a 17 bedroom private hotel with individual en- suite rooms, a restaurant offering a range of menus and secure private parking. 2025-05-2020 May 20252025-05-2323 May 202500:0023:59The T Register Spring Tour will be based in Flanders at the Hotel Saint Louis in Bollezeele France The T Register has used this hotel for a number of years with great satisfaction. Bollezeele is one hour from Calais and 40 minutes from Dunkirk and close to all the Flanders WWI sights. The Tour is planned for 20th May to the 23rd or 24th May 2025 (depending on your preference), and the costs will be from €182 per night for a double room and €135 per night for a single room, both costs include room, dinner and breakfast. The information about this event has appeared in the March edition of Safety Fast! and there is also a News item on the MG Car Club website. The event will take place between Tuesday 30th April and Saturday 25th May. As we continue the celebration of 100 years of MG in 2024, for the enjoyment of members throughout the country our goal is to link all regions of the UK and all parts of our Club in celebrating with a Centenary led expression of the ‘Marque of Friendship’.
