Luti Takes Both Donington Wins
PAUL LUTI continued his return to form with both victories in the two MG Trophy Championship races at Donington Park at the weekend!
Following his DNF and non start in the second race at Silverstone in June, Paul picked up both wins at his home circuit at Knockhill in July, these two wins plus his Donington podiums moves him back up the table to 5th place.
A tight first race beating Chris Bray, who was also back on form, to the flag by just 0.3secs was followed by an easier second win from fellow Scot Ross Makar with Bray third.
The class C battle was intense with Richard Marsh taking both wins to consolidate his position at the top of the table.
The second race was restarted after class D driver, Jonathan Harker, put his ZR 160 on it’s roof but was thankfully unhurt.
The Trophy Championship now moves on to Oulton Park in September (6th) for rounds 9 & 10.
