DESCRIPTION:\n  \nEntries are now open for the MG Car Club Ltd. Tyne Tees Centre Cobweb Run on 23rd April 2023.    We cannot accept any more than 50 cars on the Cobweb Run so please do not delay your entry to avoid disappointment.\nPlease note\, all enquiries about this event should only be made to the event organiser:                David Alexander:  david.alexander2012@btinternet.com or call him on 01670 861178.    \nStart and Finish will be Plantsplus Garden Centre\, Berwick Hill Rd\, Seaton Burn\, Newcastle upon Tyne NE13 6BU.\nThis popular venue offers a large open restaurant and parking but equally as important the opportunity to take the route into areas we haven’t often explored.\nTo celebrate Drive it Day and blow away the winter cobwebs we will be heading out into the quiet roads of north Northumberland\, skirting the foothills of the Cheviots and offering stunning views over the moors and out to the coast.\nFor those more adventurous type’s the Challenge route is 114 miles\, but should you wish to stay a little longer over lunch and stop to admire the views then that’s fine and the Tour route of 89 miles will be clearly marked in the Route Instructions.\nRoute instructions will be issued at the start as a detailed a Tulip style Route Book.\nTo avoid your hard-pressed navigator having to do a lot of sums where the two routes merge we’ll zero trip meters.\nFirst car away will be about 1015hrs and crews should aim to not return to Plantsplus before 1500hrs to allow them time to clear the majority of their lunchtime trade.\nTo comply with the Motorsport UK permit the Signing on Declaration will be on this form.\nThe Cobweb Trophies and commemorative glasses will be presented at the Finish at Plantsplus Garden Centre.\nThe entry fee where at least one person in the car is an MG Car Club member will be £25.00 based on 2 people per car including tea/coffee at the start.  On returning you to the finish you will get tea or coffee and a pastry or cake.  Refreshments for extra passengers are charged at £10.00 per person so please include with your payment.\nThe entry fee for non-members is £30.00 based on 2 people per car including tea/coffee at the start.  On returning to the finish you will get tea or coffee and a pastry or cake.  Refreshments for extra passengers are charged at £10.00 per person so please include with your payment.\nBacon or Sausage Breakfast rolls can be purchased if anyone didn’t have time for breakfast\, at an additional cost of £4.95 each.    Because of Sunday trading laws these must be ordered in advance so if you would like one please tick the box and add the required amount to your entry fee.      A vegetarian/vegan option for Breakfast is available please contact David Alexander.   Please also advise David Alexander and Plantsplus of any other special dietary requirements\nTo reduce the handling of paperwork all entries to be made via this form.\nhttps://forms.gle/E6uCtyJ2YQ7GeAyE6\nPlease be aware that cheques and cash now attract significant bank charges so payment will be via Bank Transfer.\nFinal Instructions will be sent by email to the address on the application form.\n\nTimetable\nEntries open on publication of the Entry Form.\nClosing date for entries Sunday 16th April 2023.\nFinal Instructions\, Entry List sent out by email Wednesday 19th April 2023.\nSunday 23rd April 2023\nParking up at Plantsplus from 0800hrs                              \nPlantsplus doors open 0830hrs\nDrivers Briefing 1000hrs adjacent to Start Flag\nFirst Car leaves Start 1015hrs\nFirst Cars should arrive at Finish from about 1430hrs\nCobweb Run Trophies Presented at 1530hrs\nPlantsplus Garden Centre closes 1600hrs\nThe help of Sandra Bone and Rob O’Rourke from Plantsplus Garden Centre kindly offering us such good venue for the Tyne Tees Centre Cobweb Run is very important and much appreciated.\n                                                             David and Matthew Alexander\n
