SUMMARY:T Register Spring Tour to Normandy 2024
DESCRIPTION:The T Register will again be organising a Spring Tour to the close continent next year. We will be visiting the spa town of Bagnoles de l’Orne in Normandy\, recommended by Bob and Sue Marshall. \nThe location is about 75 miles south of Caen\, 100 miles south of Le Havre and 250 miles southwest of Calais. \nWe have provisionally reserved twenty rooms at the Hôtel Spa du Béryl (Google map) from 15th April for four nights. Participants will have a choice of lake or park view\, and the hotel will give us dedicated secure parking. \nBill and Sally Silcock have visited the hotel recently\, and it is up to our expected standard and in a super location in the Andaines National Forest\, with visits to Mont Saint Michel and the Le Mans Museum being within T Type range. \nCosts\nThis time a double or twin room will cost 835.20€ and a single room 617.60€. Both rates are for 4 nights’ half board with a wine package at dinner each evening\, and are special rates only bookable through the T Register. These rates are considerably cheaper than last year’s\, but come with the requirements below. \nBooking\nThe hotel will only take bookings from a list of names that we provide\, and we have had to give the hotel a commitment with names by 1st December this year\, but see the December update below. \nPayment to the hotel in full by credit card or bank transfer will be required on booking\, which must be before 31st January 2024. Once you’ve registered with us that you’re coming we will provide the details to enable you to book at our special rate. \nThere will be an entry fee of £15 per person to cover administration costs. \nWe are currently finalising the menu choices on your behalf\, and the bookings are open with us on a first-come\, first-served basis\, so please let us know soon as time is short. \nUpdate for December 2024\nWe now have 14 crews signed up for the Spring Tour.
