SUMMARY:T Register Rebuild
DESCRIPTION:The annual Rebuild event of the MGCC T Register will again be held at the British Motor Museum\, Gaydon. \nOnline booking is now open \nThe date for the event is 9 April 2022 and the cost will be in line with previous Rebuild events at £47 for MGCC members and £49 for non members. The cost will include entrance to the museum and refreshments and lunch. \nThe speakers and topics will be \n \nPeter Jury: LED lighting conversions\, dynamo and regulator upgrades\nEric Worpe: Problems with rear oil seal conversions on XPAG engines and possible solutions\nPaul Ireland: Principles of operation\, maintenance and repair of T Type drum brakes \nPeter Jury is the proprietor of Classic Dynamo and Regulator Conversions. We will also have Alan Crook’s model of a TD chassis and drive train there and he will give a short presentation on the model. Alan’s model is rarely seen so it’s an ideal opportunity to ask him questions about it. (You can click on the photo to enlarge it.) \nThere will be a full page advert and application form in the March and April editions of Safety Fast\, but the online application form is now available. \nPlease do not arrive at the British Motor Museum before 9.30am as the gates will not be unlocked before then. \n
