Is the 2020 MG Live! cancelled?
In response to constantly evolving information from UK Government regarding social distancing guidelines for public spaces and after extensive discussions with our venue and partners, we have been forced to reconsider any postponement dates for MGLive! in 2020.
It has become clear that it will not be possible to run an event on the scale of MGLive! this year and so instead, we will focus on planning for a fantastic weekend event for 2021.
Those who have booked advance tickets or trade exhibitor pitches will have the option to roll their tickets over to the 2021 event or request a full refund. The prices paid for this year’s event will be held for next year’s.

What are the 2021 event dates for MGLive!?
We will be announcing the dates and full information on the future of MGLive! for 2021 through our website, the Safety Fast! Magazine and our social media channels. We will be aiming for a return to one of our traditional June dates next year.
Can we purchase tickets to MGLive! 2020?
Yes, you can! Tickets are on sale from 3rd February 2020! Purchase your tickets online by visiting our club shop HERE.
What time do the gates open?
The gates are open to those who are camping at 15.00 on Friday 12th June and for the general public at 9.00 on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June.
Can I bring any pets?
No pets or animals are allowed for safety reasons (other than pre-arranged assistance dogs) as they are not permitted anywhere in Silverstone including the car parks and campsites.
Which grandstands will be open?
We will have four grandstands open over the MGLive! weekend, allowing you to view the exciting on-track action from a variety of vantage points. The grandstands open are Woodcote B, BRDC, Wellington Straight and Silverstone Six.
I want to bring my children along to MGLive!, how much are children’s tickets and what can they enjoy at the event?
Children aged 15 and under get FREE ENTRY to MGLive! when accompanied by an adult. At this family friendly event, there are lots of activities for the children to enjoy. Alongside the exciting racing timetable, the Lifestyle Marquee returns, and the Arena once again plays host to a number of live acts!
Will I be able to purchase food on site?
Yes, there will be a number of food units stationed throughout the site, where you will be able to purchase a variety of foods.
Can I bring my own food?
Yes, you are able to bring your own food and drink to the event.
Do you have a special parking area for blue badge holders?
Yes we do have a special parking area within the main site, for which we provide a car pass. For more details, please call 01235 55 55 52.
How much will tickets be on the gate?
On the gate, Saturday or Sunday Day tickets will be £30. Weekend tickets will be £45. Children aged 15 and under go free when accompanied by an adult. There are great savings to be made by purchasing your tickets in advance. Please note, member discounts are not available on the gate prices. To benefit from the member discount, please ensure you book your tickets in advance.
When will my tickets be dispatched?
Tickets dispatch will start up to 10 weeks before MGLive! However, tickets may be sent out any time up to two weeks before the event.
When is the cut-off date for purchasing tickets online?
Friday 29th May 2020 for Overseas orders and Wednesday 3rd June 2020 for UK orders. Tickets cannot be booked after this date, however, tickets will be available to purchase on the gate during the event. The gate will accept credit cards and cash for payment of tickets. Please note, member discounts are not available on the gate prices. To benefit from the member discount, please ensure you book your tickets in advance.
Will there be an opportunity for me to sell my MG?
Yes there is. We no longer have a special cars for sale area at the event, but we will have advert available for a small fee in the event programme.
