Sunday 8th July – MGA Register South-West Day. This is a one-day annual touring event. For 2018 the destination is Iford Manor in Wiltshire. Click on the web site at for details of this beautiful manor house with its Grade 1 Italianate gardens.

Saturday 14th July 2018 – MGA Twin Cam Launch Re-enactment and Track Experience at Chobham.

This is likely to be the largest gathering of MGA Twin Cams anywhere in the world. Entries have been restricted to 40 cars, all available tickets for participating cars have been sold and there is a waiting list. However, you can attend as a spectator from 8:00am to 1:00pm with ticket prices at £20. Organiser, Mark Hester, says the event will be something like a mini-Goodwood in format.

The original launch event took place at Chobham and the test track is still (just) there beside the M3 and is used for many of the photo shoots in the glossy magazines – you may have wondered how you can get a photo of four cars together on what appears to be a public road. The track is available to rent and the MGA Twin Cam Group have arranged to hire it for the morning of 18th July 2018 to enable the event to take place. Enquiries for spectator tickets to
