The Kobe MG Car Club, organised their annual ‘Meet the MG 2024’ event on 11 May 2024, which attracted 36 MGs.
We still reckon centenary this year, cars described ‘MG’ and participants ‘100’ to celebrate 100 years.

Not only were the MGs displayed, but there was also a driving test and rocker cover races organised in the large parking space.
And in the evening at the party we had a champagne tower!

This year 2024 we also celebrated ’50 years of rubber bumper’, so framed advertisements were displayed.
Then everyone got excited at the quiz session of ‘how heavy is the Midget’s rubber bumper – tested by actually lifting one.
And the answer to the quiz, the weight of a Midget front rubber bumper was 18.5kg (approximately 41 pounds)!
