The Register offers a range of Regalia, Books, Publications and other items to assist you in enjoying your Y-Type ownership experience and to make things as easy as possible for owners to keep their cars in good order.

The Regalia items are there to provide an opportunity to purchase the occasional gift for those with leanings towards Y-Types, or those who have had connections with them in the past.

Our range of Books and other Publications, many written by Register members, are selected to help and advise you in the regular maintenance or restoration of your car. The experience of many members efforts in rebuilding or refurbishing various components of their cars are recorded in the various data sheets produced by the Register.

The Register has also sourced restoration items that are difficult, or impossible to obtain from mainstream suppliers. In some cases these have been manufactured, on behalf of the Register, based on original patterns from members own cars. In accordance with MG Car Club Ltd., policy, the Register does not supply spares or parts for suspension, braking and steering systems, or any items which may affect the operational safety of the vehicle in normal use. MG Car Club Ltd., members (Single, Joint or Under 25 members) are offered a general discount of 5% on published VAT inclusive prices for Regalia, Register Information Sheets and Restoration Items. To qualify for this discount, you must provide your MGCC membership number with the order (see "address" section of the order form). We are unable to offer this discount on Books and Publications sold at the cover price, or on post and packing charges. The discount will be applied automatically, where applicable, to each item on the invoice issued at the point of sale.

Ordering
To place an order please complete the order form and send it to Mike Silk, Regalia Sales, by one of the following means:-
1. Post the order form to the address at the top of the form

Alternatively, you may telephone your order to Mike Silk at the telephone number given on the order form. Please be mindful of international time zones and refrain from calling in the evenings after 9.30 pm UK time.

We accept payment by one of the following methods. Please state your preferred method when ordering.

1. By cheque (UK orders only).
2. Directly to our bank account by electronic transfer. You will be given account details when payment is advised.
3. By credit or debit card. (The types of card payments accepted are indicated on the order form). Please note that card payments are subject to a GBP 1.50 (£1.50) surcharge towards the cost of processing the card through the MGCC office.
4. By PayPal Invoicing. Please note that a charge of 3.4% of the value of the order + GBP 0.20 (£0.20) will be added to the cost of the transaction if you pay by this method.
Once you have placed your order, postage and packing charges will be added to the cost of the goods and the total amount calculated. You will then be advised of the total cost by E-mail (preferably), by PayPal e-mail based invoicing or through a phone call if a UK landline number is given. If paying by credit or debit card, this amount will then be deducted from your card account.

When sending orders by E-mail, if you wish to send card details to us in a more secure way, please split the information needed into two parts (e.g. main number and 'Start date', then 'Expiry date' and 'Security number') and send them in separate E-mails.

We use recycled packing wherever possible to keep down your costs. We also use second class UK mail and the lowest possible airmail rate for items sent abroad. Items exceeding the standard UK Royal Mail insurance level (currently around £39) will be insured as appropriate and the costs included in the postage and packing charge to protect the interests of both parties. If you want items particularly urgently and are prepared to pay the additional costs involved, please do let us know.
