Background

ON TWO occasions in the recent past the MG Car Club has been close to being involved in legal proceedings concerning the origin and registration of cars.

The DVLA is randomly inspecting more cars today when the recovery of original registration numbers, the issue of age related registration and replacement Registration Certificates (V5c) are requested.

The procedure detailed in the downloadable document has been developed by the Directors and Registers with Kimber House to attempt to ensure that, as far as it is possible, a fair consideration is given to the applicants case so that the threat of legal proceedings can be avoided.
