Safety Fast January 1974

IN 1974 MG and the MG Car Club celebrated 50 years of MG Motoring.

Much like the latest issue of Safety Fast! the January issue in 1974 featured a special emblem commissioned for the anniversary year.

The front cover photo was taken by T Buddle with the caption “Frank Vautier raising the dust at Lydden Hill”.

Whereas now Safety Fast! is a 100 page monthly magazine, January 1974’s edition was just 24 pages long with a feature on the Silverstone Sprint.
