October 6th 2008
The english weather proved to be the deciding factor as overnight rain continued into the Sunday and caused the Snetterton meeting to be abandoned as the efforts of the marshalls and circuit staff were unable to defeat nature as half the normal October rain fell in a few hours.
With the loss of round 10 and no practical chance of a rerun the championship results have been declared over nine rounds with the best seven results to count. Points totals are on the results page and the race report will be availble in a couple of days when the newsletter is released.
October 4th 2008
Snetterton race one was graced with a grid of 32 but practice saw problems for a few, data from practice and race is in the downloads in pdf form.
The championship has still not been decided so the final round tomorrow will be important and the potentially wet weather could be very significant. Early risers and morning type people should have a destinct advantage as the race is scheduled for 9.00 a.m.
A full race report will be in the double edition Newsletter 9, along with the round 10 news and reports on how our drivers have fared in the British Motor Heritage relay race.
September 24th 2008
Snetterton TimeTable and Entry List are available, and a very healthy grid it looks too.
A Drivers Driver nomination form should have gone out to all registered competitors and you are all strongly encouraged to fill them in and return them to Maggie.

March 20th 2008
Aston Martin Owners Club have now released an entry form for Mallory on the 27th April - download it from the calendar page.
Rumours are circulating that James Darby is moving up a class to run a B V8, stark contrast to the rumour he was saving his pennies this year !
At the end of last season the MGCC had to make a decision as to how many people would enter each championship round and how it would organise it's race meetings. The PBIC was offered places at every meeting but not full race grids at a couple of meetings based on historic turnouts - we also did not know when the T type races might be elsewhere. So what has happened, yes we are over subscribed for the first round ! with 26 entries - several more than we where allocated.
All competitors should now know that the club has reorganised the grids for Donington to get the maximum number of people a race and we are grateful to all concerned in achieving this.
The Oulton Park meeting is also likely to have the same problem so get get your entries in now!
Championship Regulations have now been approved by the RAC MSA and have been sent to all registered competitors. If you would like a copy and are not registered they can be downloaded from the regulations page on this site.
Entry forms for all the MGCC race meetings are available from the this site on the calendar page or from the club via download or mail. Alternately you can fill in the season entry form as at least 14 people have already done.
Castle Combe is also available from the MGCC thanks to Steve Carr.
