History of Car and any work or modifications carried out: I bought my pride and joy in 1977 when I was a student in Bristol and used it every day for the next 5 years travelling all over the UK and doing about 12k miles each year and enjoyed every mile. In 1982 I was given my first company car and I am afraid the Midget was put aside. It was garaged for the next 33 years and only turned a wheel (well 3 actually as one had seized up) in 2014 when I had to move garages.

The bodywork has been lightened over the years in a very natural way, particularly around the rear spring hangers, the A posts and sills, but I am sure that a good wash and polish will restore it to its former glory.

The car is fairly standard although it has developed rear wheel steering due to the location of the springs. It also has a form of fresh air ventilation through the additional holes in the bodywork.

I am looking forward to carrying out some restoration work on the car over the next few years.
