Help to illuminate the Silverstone night sky.
After three successful years as part of the Saturday night ‘After Hours’ party, the flashing lights and neons of the MG Glo Car competition will again help to illuminate the Silverstone night sky. A bar and food will also be available for you to enjoy After Hours to the full.
The MGF Register has run Glo Car competitions at its popular series of MGFest events and again they are bringing them to MGLive! for all MGs from pre-war to modern day models.
But what is a Glo Car? Essentially, it’s a car that glows! To make it fairer there are two categories; ‘ProGlo’ and ‘ImproGlo’. Both give everyone a chance to join in the fun.
ProGlo cars are those that feature permanent built in neons, lights, lasers or any form of aftermarket illumination. This can even be linked in with the car’s audio system for a full sound and vision effect.
ImproGlo is for those cars which have the standard lighting systems but have been illuminated in a more improvisational way. This can be anything that is not permanently attached to the car such as Glo sticks, torches, battery operated lights, fluorescent stickers, flags and so on but please DON’T use naked flames!
The cars will be judged in each category and trophies awarded. CLICK HERE for this year’s flyer.
