THE ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING of the Vintage Register is to be held on 4th March 2012 at The George Hotel in Dorchester upon Thames.
Once again it is time to plan for the Vintage Register AGM which is to be held at the same venue as last year, The George Hotel in Dorchester-upon-Thames www.thegeorgedorchester.co.uk/. We had a hard winter last year and by March most VR people were ready to get out and use their cars. Last year it was a lovely sunny day and more than 35 people attended with five vintage M.G.s in the car park.
We try to make our AGM a pleasant social gathering by holding the meeting in the convivial surroundings of The George Hotel, an old coaching inn. Members enjoy the chance of an early season get together, a good lunch in the hotel restaurant which is followed by an interesting talk It is still then possible to get home before it gets dark.
The cost for a two course meal, morning coffee and afternoon tea will be a reasonable £20 a head, the same as 2011. The hotel provide, free of charge, the upstairs meeting room.
With your January edition of The Bulletin you should have had a slip describing the choices availalbe for a two course lunch. Please complete this slip and return to Peter Mace in the envelope provided by 20th Feruary 2012. If you didn't receive the slip with your Bulletin please contact me, John Cooper at
