Come on you b****** get your championship entries and race entries in to the club asap.

Currently with 18 entries we will get combined with some one else. Loads of complaints when it happened last year and you all know the way to stop it happening is to enter early. If you have money doubts or not finished the car yet don't delay because you can make use of the clubs generous later withdrawal policy, leave it any later and you could be complaining about being a reserve!

Some others are getting their act together so you have been warned.....

That’s a great motivational technique Dave

Seriously though, the sooner the entries are received at the club the more chance we have of getting our own race. AND THE CLUB WON’T TAKE THE MONEY UNTIL THE CLOSING DATE SO IT DOESN’T MATTER HOW SOON YOU SEND OFF YOUR ENTRY FORM.
I think the midgets have agreed to their two races being shortened to 15 minutes to squeeze them in, so the Main Club are doing all they can to help every driver from every championship get out on track. If we are amalgamated with the Cockshoot Cup then it’s not the end of the world, the cars are eligible for the PBIC anyway and some of the drivers are no strangers the PBIC (e.g. Peter Bramble etc.) The more PBIC entries the better though.....

Yes, short and straight to the point but as you say not subtle....

Would be a shame to have a combined grid with anyone since I'd like the chance to watch Margaret take the F to victory lane.

If you do combine you'll have some spare time so you could always come and help out the marshals. We are always short of numbers at Donington so all help is gratefully received.

Yes, Marshals - the forgotten Heroes of Motorsport.

Anyone not entering Donington and not marshalling will have to do 400 words on 'Why I didn't get a signature to upgrade my race licence by marshalling'. It will have passed most of you by but last year at Donington the club treasurer found out what an awful place the Melbourne hairpin can be.

Seriously folks, marshalling can be a very good way of keeping tabs on the opposition. Gets you far closer track side than spectating and without buying your own ticket....
