I have not been eaten by my video camera!!! Sorry Tim, something did come up this weekend that was even more urgent and important than MGs - and even more than horses as well ........ and I felt terribly guilty, so I was going to do you a video of not only how to put it down (which you now seem to have totally solved !), but also, if you wanted, how to refit one on to the car in the first place!!!

That is, indeed, exactly how you do it, the top one is neater, and you would then find it easier to fit a "half touneau" on top for total neatness.

Glad you figured it out - it really is much more satisfying that way Mind you - I was totally hampered by my mum who couldn't understand why I didn't have to remove the whole thing like on the Mk1 Midget ..... which my dad and her had way back when (before I was born!!!!!!)
