The aim of these rules is to provide a ready source of reference for all Club members but, in particular, for the majority who chose not to be involved in the administration of the Club.
For that reason they have been kept as simple as possible whilst maintaining accord with the Club's Memorandum and Articles of Association (MAA). In the event of any conflict between the rules and the MAA the latter take precedence. Club members may like to know that over the period during which the rules have been compiled all those serving on the Council and the Executive have had the opportunity to comment.
