SPECTATOR INFORMATION
Opening Hours : Open from 10:00
on Friday 22nd June until 18:00 on Sunday 24th June.
Entry Tickets (Non Transferable) : Multi day tickets are valid for
the full duration of the meeting. One day tickets are valid from
10:00 until 22:00 on Friday 22nd June or from 07:00 until 22:30
on Saturday 23rd June or from 07:00 until the closing time of 18:00
on Sunday 25th June. Tickets purchased in advance are non-refundable.
Children under the age of 16 years and accompanied by an adult are
admitted free of charge to the event. Advance ticket sales are offered
at two discounted prices one for members and one for non-members
until 15th June 2007 using the booking form on the reverse or book
online here.
Thereafter tickets can only be purchased on the gate.
Infield Parking : All MG cars have free dedicated infield
parking for all three days of the event.
Disabled Parking : Centre of the Circuit adjacent to the
Paddock Diner, registered badge holders only.
Paddock Access : Pedestrian access to the race paddocks is
free to all. Children under 16 years of age must be accompanied
by an adult at all times. Only duly authorised competitors and official’s
vehicles will be permitted access to the paddocks.
On Site Camping : Two Areas; Quiet and General. Quiet means
no large groups or late night parties with vehicle movements barred
after 22:30. General is for groups, parties are tolerated; loud
music and vehicle movement after midnight are not allowed. Camping
plots will take 2 small tents and 2 cars, or 1 large tent and 2
cars. Caravan / Motorhome plots are larger and will accommodate
a caravan and 2 cars or a motorhome and 1 car. Permits will only
be issued to those that purchase a multi day ticket, valid for the
nights of 22nd and 23rd June only.
Camping Groups : To camp with your friends we will endeavour
to ensure that you are all allocated adjacent plots. To enable Kimber
House and the Midlands Centre to
provide this service please book as follows. On a single booking
form confirm the total number of plots that you require and
submit with full payment for all plots listing on a separate sheet
those in your group or party. Failure to book for groups as above
may result in your group being separated.

Grandstands : Seating is provided free of charge in the Woodcote
and Start Line grandstands. The BRDC grandstand on the infield is
available at additional cost,
payable on the day directly to the BRDC.
Event Programme : Pre-order your programme on the booking
form for only £4 (£5 on the day). You will receive a
voucher redeemable at the MG Car Club stand.
Food and Drink : Selections of hot and cold snacks to suit
all tastes. Refreshments and licensed bar available throughout the
three days.
ACTIVITIES AT
THE 57th MGCC SILVERSTONE INTERNATIONAL
MGCC Marquee : Situated in the
centre of the infield, this is the hub of the weekend's activities
incorporating the Main Club Stand offering sales of the full range
of Club regalia, models and books and where visitors can meet members
of Kimber House staff. Alongside the special car displays will be
the Register and Centre stalls.
Anniversary Displays : In and around the MGCC Marquee will
be this year's special displays which will celebrate the J2s 75th
Anniversary, 70th Anniversary of the SVW range of cars, 60th Anniversary
of the Y Type and the 40th Anniversary of the MGC.
Paddock Displays : The hugely popular special bodied XPAG-engined
cars will again draw a large crowd to see these unique cars.
Traders City : MGCC Silverstone presents the largest outdoor
MG Trade area where you can buy anything from a complete car to
spares, parts, accessories and MG memorabilia. Traders City situated
on the infield by Copse Corner is open all three days and attracts
maximum interest from all MG and motoring enthusiasts. Trade information

Racing : Highlight of the MG racing season is the three day
racing programme taking place on the challenging International Circuit
- the biggest single marque race meeting in the World. Over 500
competitors from the UK and overseas will be contesting 18 races
over the Saturday and Sunday following a full day of testing on
the Friday. Races will include rounds of all of the Club's National
MG Championships plus invitation events for Jaguar, Morgan and TR.
Rally Rides : The hugely successful MG ZR Rally Rides will
again be operating on the demanding Silverstone Rally Handling Stage
on the Saturday and Sunday offering white knuckle rides alongside
experienced instructors. Book in advance on
line or on the form to secure your ride.
California Cup Autotests: The traditional MG Autotest of
the year is staged in one of the vast Grand Prix car parks on the
Saturday and organised by the South-Western Centre. There are classes
for all MG models competing for the California Cup with Centre and
Register Teams keenly contesting the BMC Trophy. Tick the box on
the booking form to be sent entry forms.
Barbeque and presentation: In previous years the highlight
of the Saturday evening at Silverstone has been the dinner, where
friends meet and new friendships are formed. This year there will
a BBQ on offer adjacent to the main marquee undercover with full
bar facilites. The evening starts at 19.00 with the presentation
at 20.15 followed by the BBQ and a live band at 21.00. All welcome
to the presentation and the band, please book your tickets in advance.
Gymkhana : This year, run on the Saturday afternoon and organised
by the Abingdon Works Centre this takes place on the infield runways
and is an annual Silverstone favourite where driver and passenger
perform tests where a sense of humour and the dexterity of the
passenger is more important than car performance. Tick the box for
entry forms or enter via the Abingdon Works stall in the main marquee
on the day.
Circuit Tours: Back by popular demand are the controlled
speed circuit tours, designed for people with MG Road cars to get
a racing drivers view of Silverstone Circuit. This is not a race
or track day and will be at a controlled speed behind a pace car,
spaces are limited with the first session starting at 10.00 on the
Sunday Morning. £15 for 15 minutes on the famous home of British
Motorsport. To reserve your place please use the printable booking

Concours and Pride of Ownership Sponsored by Airflow and Meguiar’s

MG Silverstone would not be complete without these two popular events
featuring some of the finest examples of beautifully maintained
and restored MG models. Again this year organised by the Anglia
Centre with sponsorship from Airflow, who will be presenting the
Car of the Show with an Airflow Car Chamber and providing other
products for all class winners. Meguiar’s will also be sponsoring
the Concours and Pride of Ownership and presenting class winners
with some of their excellent valeting products. Tick the box on

Centre on the day up until10am
Sprint : The Club's Luffield Speed Championship organised
by the North-Western Centre is the UK's best supported marque series
and the Silverstone round run on Sunday is the highlight of the
sprinting season for many. The course runs from Chapel to Club corner
on the southern Grand Prix circuit with timed runs following morning
practice. There are classes for all MG models and a full supporting
entry from other marques. Tick the box on the form or phone Kimber

Cars for Sale : MGCC Silverstone International is the ideal
venue to buy or sell an MG being the largest single marque meeting
in the world. It is the ideal showcase to offer or purchase a car
from the large selection on offer. Dedicated Cars for Sale area
near Trade City ensures a lot of protential buyers view you car,
with a reserved space and sale board provided. Book your space on

Register Parking : The centre piece of the MG Silverstone
weekend are the displays arranged by the 14 Registers each having
their own dedicated free infield parking area open to all MG visitors.
The vast Register parking areas are the place for meeting and greeting
of fellow model owners.
