You can win this unique MGB GT in our FREE to enter competition during 2008. Any member of the MG Car Club can win this car simply by helping your club recruit new members. During 2008 our star MGB will be out and about at all kinds of MGCC events where it will be meeting some of the VIPs of the MG world. Then in November, our star car could become your star car in a draw which will take place at the NEC Classic Show!
The car is a one-owner 1977 MGB GT in Brooklands Green with a fully documented history and over the coming season of MG Car Club events, it is about to acquire a good deal more! The MGB Register has already given the car a thorough assessment at their MGB Focus Day in November and they will manage the progress of the car during 2008. With the help of members of the MGCC Trade Scheme, the car will evolve as the year progresses - exactly how will depend on what our members think, so let us know how you think the car could be improved and upgraded. You can email us at mgbcompetition@mgcc.co.uk with your suggestions.
Would you like to see our star car at your MGCC event? Tell us about your event and why the car should be there, helping to recruit new members.
It’s free and very simple for MGCC members to enter this competition. Along with the January Safety Fast! magazine you will find a sheet of reply paid cards. Simply write your membership number on each card and carry the sheet in your car. The next time you are out and about and spot an MG, simply tear off a card and place it under the windscreen wiper – or if you happen to meet the driver, why not tell them about the benefits of being part of ‘the marque of friendship’? When the prospective member sends the card with your number on it in to Kimber House to obtain a membership enquiry pack, you are automatically entered into the draw to win the car. Any card can win – you could win simply by giving one card to a potential member but of course the more cards you hand out, the more chances you have to win. This will be a unique car with an interesting history and you could be driving it away from the NEC later this year!
