The MG Car Club is the
most active one make race organising Club in the UK. The Race Meetings,
organised by the Main Club, take place at Silverstone, Cadwell Park,
Oulton Park, Snetterton, and Castle Combe.
There are seven national MG Car Club race championships catering
for all MG models.
Race Championships:

Each Championship has its own Championship
Administrator and a Driver's Group who determine their own race
schedules and technical regulations. Championship rounds are run
mostly at MG Car Club meetings with invitation events at other Club's
meetings.

Car Club MG Trophy
For current MG models, infour classes; Purpose-built 190bhp MG ZR
race cars running on race tyres and a class for the former MGF Cup
race cars, on race tyres, with updated bodywork to bring them up
to the latest MGTF outline. New for 2007 will be classes for MG
ZR 160s and a class for any road-going MGF or MGTF, the latter two
on road tyres. There are "Arrive and Drive" packages in

Car Club Peter Best Insurance Challenge
The Peter Best Insurance Challenge is the only series that caters
for all MGs ranging from T-Types through to Midgets, MGBs, MGCs
to MGFs. There are classes for race modified, modified and road

MG Car Club MG Midget Challenge in association with

The Midget Challenge caters for the ever green post-war Midgets
and Austin Healey Sprites racing in three classes, for full race

Car Club Strata 21 BCV8 Championship
The Club's long established BCV8 Championship is the premier series
for MGB and MGC racing, offering classes for the fully modified

Car Club Thoroughbred Sports Car Championship, sponsored by Zero Exhaust Systems.
This series has a list of eligible cars that
compete in engine capacity classes. Regular entries competing against

MG Car Club Cockshoot Cup Championship
The Cockshoot Cup Championship, run by the North Western Centre
of the Club, has a competitor base and rounds centered on the North-West.
The entry is predominantly Midget, MGB and Austin Healey Sprite

MG Car Club Drayton Manor Park Metro Cup
Low cost racing is offered by the Metro Cup which caters for the
