£700 Raised at Macmillan Coffee Morning

THANKS to everyone who took part, the MG Car Club has raised an incredible £700 for Macmillan Cancer Support in our Kimber House Coffee Morning!

Macmillan’s World’s Biggest Coffee morning is an annual, nationwide event, and as our charity partner’s we happily opened the club doors to our members and the people of Abingdon.

Almost 70 people attended our coffee morning, helping to raise over £700 for the fantastic cause. As well as local Abingdon residents, we also had guests from much further afield. MG Car Club member Philip Jones’ travelled to the Coffee Morning, all the way from Malaga in Spain, raising £200 in the process.

We were also joined by the Car Club’s European Manager Hakan Sigemark, who was visiting the UK from Sweden.

This weekend the MG Car Club will be at Silverstone for the BTCC. The MacMidget will be on the club stand on Sunday, so lets see if we can raise that final figure!
